After you add the file, every page appears as a thumbnail; drag them into place and the order box is filled in for you.
Or type the new order directly — 3,1,2 — as page numbers and ranges (5-8,1-4).
Any page you leave out keeps its place after the ones you named, in original order, so you only have to type the pages that move.

{ } What is preserved

Pages are copied into a new document in the new order without re-encoding: text, fonts, images and page-level annotations are unchanged. The outline (bookmarks), if the source had one, is not carried over.

A duplex scan that came out as all odd pages then all even pages — type the interleaved order.
Moving a summary to the front — type its page number; everything else follows in order.
A document scanned back-to-front — type a reversed range such as 20-1.

Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
Thumbnails are rendered in your browser; a document of several hundred pages takes a moment to preview.
