{ } Selecting and ordering
- Click pages in the thumbnail grid, or type page numbers and ranges (1-3,7) in the box.
- Pages come out in the order you write them — 7,1-3 puts page 7 first — so Extract can reorder while it trims.
- A page listed twice appears once.
{ } The result
A single PDF (extracted.pdf) containing only the chosen pages, copied without re-encoding: page sizes, text, images and the annotations on those pages are preserved. Unlike Split PDF, which produces one file per range inside a ZIP, Extract always produces one file.
{ } Extract, Split or Remove?
- Extract — one new PDF with the pages you name.
- Split — several new PDFs, one per range, delivered as a ZIP.
- Remove — one new PDF with the pages you name taken out.
{ } Limits
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Your original file is never modified — the result is a separate download.
{ } How it works
Extract PDF Pages works on the file you upload. Adjust the options, then select Process ▸ and it runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded to a server — then shows the result in the Output panel.
Inputs
- PDF file — upload a file (.pdf); it is read locally in your browser
- Pages to keep — a value (default: "1")
Output
A downloadable PDF file — use the Download button in the Output panel.
{ } Common uses
- Keep just the pages you need from a long document.
- Pull one form out of a packet.
- Create a short excerpt to share.
{ } FAQ
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser — your files never leave your device.
Can I process more than one file at once?
This tool works on one input at a time.
Is this tool free?
Yes — it’s completely free and needs no sign-up.
How is this different from Remove Pages?
Extract keeps the pages you select and discards the rest; Remove does the opposite.
